CDK Global said Monday that it plans to get all of its dealer customers back on its dealer management system by Thursday at the latest.

The software system has been largely down following two cyberattacks on June 19.

CDK said it's "rapidly" phasing dealers back onto the DMS and that it expects all of them to be reconnected to the system by late Wednesday or Thursday morning, in time for Independence Day selling.

"Our Customer Care channels have also been restored and customers can call, chat or submit eCases if they need assistance," it said in a statement.

The company is also working to restore other applications, including its customer relationship management system and service department products.

Many dealers have been resorting to handwritten documentation since the outage started.
